“Great deals, friendly service. I would highly recommend. My wife and I were looking for a new fridge and the staff pointed us in the right direction. We dealt with Melissa, she was polite and genuine, wasn’t pushy in terms of trying to force us to make a purchase and gave us enough room to make a decision. We are happy with our experience and will return when we need another appliance.” – Ethan Collard
Queensland Appliances, established in 1974, is the most experienced and trusted second-hand appliance dealer in Brisbane.
From humble beginnings in Rocklea, Bob Hall started serving Brisbane with Whitegoods and Appliances, quickly establishing himself as a man that could be trusted to provide the best products and service on the market.
In 1980, Queensland Appliances moved to 185 Stanley St, South Brisbane and immediately became a well-known fixture of the local area. Planning for World Expo 88 forced the move to 616 Wickham St, Fortitude Valley where the business remained for over 20 years.
In 2008, Queensland Appliances made the exciting move to a much larger warehouse at 40 Abbotsford Rd, Bowen Hills where the space allowed the business to expand the range of products and a workshop allowed the team to improve the quality of reconditioned & factory second appliances.
In February 2016, the business relocated to an even larger premises at 68 Abbotsford Road, Bowen Hills (just down the road from their previous premises). This move created more parking and more space for their customers to enjoy a larger selection of products to choose from and save.
In March 2019, one of their longest serving head technicians, Levi Collins, took over the business from Bob, who is now enjoying his well-earned retirement. Levi is extremely proud and honored to continue the legacy of Queensland Appliances into the future, and continues to provide their customers with the honest and best service they have come to know.
