5 tips to curly from wavy

Here’s a hair routine which you could follow to help you achieve best results:

Washing

Curly hair can be very dry and if you’re hair lacks moisture control washing your hair daily and keep it to 2-3 times a week depending on the level of moisture in your hair. Use a conditioner to enhance moisture in your hair. Detangle your hair by parting them into 2 or 4 and apply adequate amount of conditioner. Leave the conditioner on for 5-7 mins and wash it for 1 minute so that there’s some left in the hair.

Scrunching

Drying

Why don’t you stop using a towel on your hair? Instead dry it with a t-shirt. Towels take away all the water content in your hair and using a t-shirt will help retain some moisture. After that plop your hair without touching it, roll it up with your shirt and keep those curls intact. It’s best suited for long hair than short because it may cause short hairs to get crushed and lose shape.

Sleep

To help curls attain their full definition you need to sleep. While sleeping your curls get rubbed and squished giving them a flawless frizz. Not sleeping only leads to your hair looking flat by crushing those beautiful curls. So remind yourselves to get a goodnight sleep for some good morning curls.

Combing and brushing your hair should only be done when your hair is wet. Remember not to brush the life out of your hair, your curls will die. The result of brushing and combing 100 times is not silky smooth hair. What about knots and tangles?

Do it with your fingers working your way from bottom to the top. By brushing your hair you are breaking the hair bond you achieved with serums and conditioners. It can cause frizz. When you comb your hair it produces opposite charges between your hair and the comb. This causes hair strands to repel making our hairs look like a magnetic field.
