Ronan Farrow to launch podcast based on best-seller, “Catch and Kill”

Investigative journalist Ronan Farrow will be collaborating with Pineapple Street Studios to launch a new podcast. Titled “The Catch and Kill Podcast”, the audio series will be based on his best-selling novel “Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators.”

Pineapple Street Studios revealed the news on Wednesday and announced that the podcast is scheduled to debut in November. The series is described as “an audio companion” to Farrow’s novel.

“Catch and Kill is full of incredibly compelling men and women and this podcast will give you the opportunity to hear their voices directly, in intimate, candid conversations with me,” the esteemed journalist said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

As for what the audio series has to offer, Farrow said:

“We’ll provide a deeper understanding of the plot that unravels in the book and feature brand new details and pieces of evidence directly from the investigation.”

Farrow’s riveting book was released earlier this month. Its contents unraveled details about his exposition on the sexual assault allegations made against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. The polarizing report helped initiate the #MeToo movement back in 2017.

Aside from holding the best-seller title on multiple book charts, the book has made headlines after it detailed the rape allegations against Today Show’s Matt Lauer. The Catch and Kill podcast will see Farrow speaking in-depth about the figures involved in his book. A preview episode recently aired on The New Yorker Radio Hour that featured an interview with private spy Igor Ostrovskiy who was initially paid to spy on Farrow.
