Paul and Ann are a husband and wife team with a lot of character and history behind them. Their robust life experiences have lead them to where they are today; providing impactful mindset training for entrepreneurs and marketers that gives them the best chance of long-term success.

Being affiliated with The FourPercent Group, their programs cover a wide range of areas relevant to nurturing essential skills that everyone needs when starting a new business venture online. Their lessons are specifically designed to ensure that students come away with knowledge that will stick with them throughout all of their entrepreneurial pursuits well into the future.

We asked them some questions about their background and how they developed their highly successful program:

What inspired you to want to provide training and advice for today’s entrepreneurs and marketers?

Having spent the last 40 years running a company working the Electrical Contracting of construction and being a son of an Electrical Contracting father who also ran a company, I have spent all my life listening to professional tradesmen mostly telling me that they wanted to get out of construction before their bodies wore out. I would try to convince them that they could anything they chose to if they really wanted to.

When I speak to those same guys now they just say I was lucky, my argument is I just wanted it more than them.

On your website you admit to not being ‘computer literate’, what was the hardest part about translating your real-world expertise into an online format?

Both Ann my wife and my business partner and myself were never taught (at school) computer sciences. Everything we have learned has been trial and error, frustration and success. Computers are without a doubt the most frustrating things out there but once mastered do save you massive amounts of time and enable us to interact with the rest of the world. One of the hardest things to get your head around is the fact that with the computer you stop thinking locally and start thinking globally, you may be sleeping but the rest of the world is awake and doing business.

What has been your proudest accomplishment since starting this endeavour?

The one thing that gave us the biggest kick was earning our first $100 online. It proved to us that it does work you just have to be consistent, inventive, and determined.

Knowing why you went online in the first place is a must because it pushes you on when times get tough. You have to have a destination in mind or how do you know when you get there.

If you could name one big problem most new entrepreneurs and marketers have, what would it be and how should they overcome it?

This question is more or less tied up with the previous question, new entrants to entrepreneurship find it hard to decide why they want to be entrepreneurs and where they want to go with it.

Knowing your “why” shows the way and it also solves another big problem entrepreneurs have is whom are they going to talk to and sell their products too. The later problem is solved with one of the products in the four percent catalogue of products.

What is your approach to ‘Mindset Development’ and how does this help your clients achieve long-term success?

Mindset is the key as far as we are concerned, one cannot achieve a thing with “stinking thinking”.

Feed the mind by reading the right books, listening to the right videos. Turn the TV off.

How has your affiliation with The FourPercent Group helped you to develop and deliver your mindset programs?

Four percent has taught us over the years how to think for ourselves, become our own brand and take responsibility for our futures.

What general advice would you give those who are considering starting their own business venture?

The best piece of advice we could give is “find a mentor” listen to them and join a great company where you can get the help and training to keep you on track to your success.
