Orange Is the New Black drops emotional series finale trailer

Orange Is the New Black is wrapping up its run with its seventh and final season signifying the end of an era for Netflix.

The streaming giant dropped the trailer for season seven of the hit web series last Wednesday. Orange Is the New Black is one the first original flagship series of Netflix. The series ending follows the closing of House of Cards and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Now, the series is making its final return.

The series warns that the emotionally charged season may make viewers cry.

The Netflix original was adapted from a memoir of the same name by Piper Kerman. It follows the story of a fictional version of the author played by Taylor Schilling (Piper Chapman). The show rose to popularity with its comedic tones as it showed whatā€™s behind detained women living challenging lives.

For its final season, our favorite characters are seen forced to come to terms on how their stay behind bars has changed their lives forever. Piper is seen struggling to fit into the outside world after completing her sentence. While life in maximum security continues on without our main character. See the full trailer below:

Avid viewers of the show are also given a glimpse of fan favorites including Alex (Laura Prepon), Nicky (Natasha Lyonne), Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba), (Dascha Polanco), Maritza (Diane Guerrero), Flaca (Jackie Cruz), Red (Kate Mulgrew) and more. Netflix has also released new photos from the show.

The seventh and final season of Orange Is the New Black is set for a July 26 release on Netflix.
