Kate Middleton reveals she is “broody”

There is a well-known saying when it comes to royalty having children “an heir and a spare”. But The Duchess of Cambridge proved everyone wrong when she welcomed her second son and third child Prince Louis in April 2013.

It appears that Middleton loves having a big family, but does she have plans for royal baby number four with Prince William? There is certainly no denying that The Duchess of Cambridge has baby fever!

Wills and Kate are currently touring Northern Ireland as part of their royal duties. The royal couple were on their second day of their trip when they visited the town of Ballymena. The couple were welcomed to the town by hundreds of admirers. During their walkabout, the topic of children came up when Middleton met 5 month old baby James.

The mum of three admitted to baby James’ dad Alan that “He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel broody,” Kate went onto say to the 5 month old “You’re a very sweet little boy”.

It was impossible not to see how much Kate loves children, with Alan asking the question that has been on all of our minds since Louis was born “Baby number four?” Whilst diplomatic Kate neither said yes or no to the question, she did laugh and comment “I think William might be slightly worried”. Could this be a hint to her royal hubby?

It’s clear that the 37 year Duchess loves children of all ages, the royal couldn’t help but complimenting a little girl on her attire, saying, “I love your cool coat. Charlotte loves pink.”

Middleton has left an impression on many of the young people she has met throughout her time as a royal, the most recent of which being 9 year old Hannah Ritchie. Hannah stated that “I asked if she liked being a princess, and is the palace big? She said she liked being a princess because she can travel around the world and meet all the lovely children. She gets to talk to them – she loves meeting and talking to the children.”

Kate responded by saying that “I love working with young people.” The Duchess of Cambridge made Hannah’s day by saying “It’s very nice to meet you”.

Whether royal baby number 4 is in the cards for the couple is yet to be seen. But there is certainly no denying that Kate loves children and wouldn’t discount having another child!
