Irina Shayk shared how life has changed since she and her ex-beau Bradley Cooper parted last year. The two share their 4-year-old child, Lea.
The Russian fashion model has no hard feelings for her ex as she reflected on their past relationship in an interview with British Vogue. “I think in all good relationships you bring your best and your worst — it’s just the nature of a human being,” the March 2020 issue cover girl said.
She added, “Two great people don’t have to make a good couple.”
In the end, Shayk has no regrets about the time she had with the A Star is Born actor. She didn’t shy away from getting candid about her ex. “I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other,” she added. “Life without B is new ground.”

Since the day we met until now, my friendship with you has meant so much more than work.. And being chosen by you @Edward_Enninful to be on the March cover of @BritishVogue, is an honor. Thank you for making me a part of your vision, and always making me laugh, even when I wanted to cry while we did the interview:))) And thank you for your friendship @MertAlas @MacPiggott .. can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you ❤️ #BritishVogue @AliKavoussi
The two are in a co-parenting situation with their daughter but Shayk confessed that being a single mom can take its toll. She details the experience saying,
“It’s hard to find a balance between being a single mom and being a working woman and provider. Trust me, there are days I wake up and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I don’t know what to do, I’m falling apart.’”
The Burberry ambassador also revealed why men are intimidated by her when asked about her dating life. Shayk says her “strong personality” and tendency to burn bridges gives off a “cold” exterior that “some people are really scared of.” But she’s not at all what people think of her.
