Dua Lipa is reportedly “nervous” about releasing new music

Dua Lipa fans rejoice! The pop singer is ready to release her highly-anticipated album. However, the 23-year-old singer can’t help but feel nervous about it.

The songstress spoke out about what she has in store for fans in an interview with BBC. She said that her second studio album is “coming soon” and “feels like a dancercise class.” It looks like we can expect upbeat music that will easily make it in our playlists.

The interview took place on the red carpet during the 2019 Silver Clef Awards in London, United Kingdom. “It’s been a long time coming so I’m super happy. I’m nervous. It feels like it’s happening all over again,” The New Rules hitmaker went on to say.

Dua Lipa added, “I’m very much more in touch with who I am. Now I have a very clear idea of what I’m doing and what I want to say. Things I’m not afraid of.” Indeed, she has made a strong image with her powerful and equally relatable lyrics. The Swan Song singer also describes what she wants her music to be for listeners.

“With the music, it’s also about ensuring they have a safe space, a place where they can come and listen to the music and hang out. That’s what’s really important to me,” she added.

When the BBC asked the singer about this year’s Song of the Summer, she playfully teased something that piques anyone’s interest.

“I don’t know if it’s something coming from me or someone else…” she hinted.
