Doctor Strange sequel currently being written says Elizabeth Olsen

It seems like the Marvel fandom just isn’t running out of exciting news.

To those who are particularly looking forward to the second Doctor Strange film, actress Elizabeth Olsen offered a small but substantial detail about the sequel’s development.

The Marvel star is known for her role as Wanda Maximoff a.k.a Scarlet Witch. It was previously announced that Olsen will be returning to the big screen to reprise her superhero role in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”.

Details about the Doctor Strange sequel has been kept closely under wraps and little is known about the project aside from its May 7, 2021 release date. So what intel does the actress have to offer regarding the said project? Cinema Blend reports that according to Olsen, writers for the film are currently hard at work in getting the storyline penned and ready for production.

When she was asked whether her Disney+ series WandaVision has something to do with the movie the entertainment news outlet quoted Olsen saying:
“Yes. Yes, it does. But I don’t… I think they’re writing that right now, but I don’t really know much about it.”

Although the actress seemed hesitant to go into further detail about the story, fans have taken Olsen’s statement as a confirmation that the movie is in its early production stage.

Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is so far the only confirmed character who will be crossing over to Disney’s upcoming streaming platform and will also be making a big-screen return. The much-awaited WandaVision series starring the actress will be released on Disney+ in 2021.
