Dr. Stephen Wilkinson was educated at the University of New South Wales and spent a number of years in Scotland before deciding to make Tasmania his home. Dr. Carey Gall is a specialist Colorectal Surgeon and member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ). Hobart Eye Surgeons

Dr. Paul McCartney graduated from Medicine from the University of Tasmania in 1983 and trained in Ophthalmology at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney under Professor Fred Hollows.

He has been head of the Ophthalmology Department at the Royal Hobart Hospital and has held an honorary academic appointment at the University of Tasmania since 1992. He was appointed Clinical Associate Professor in 2011.

He has always expressed strong clinical interests in cataract, corneal and refractive surgery. This has led him to continuously seek the best technologies in terms of intraocular lenses and cataract surgery techniques. As a result, he is invited to teach and demonstrate surgery internationally.
