Dr John Madden joined the Hobart Anaesthetic Group in 1986 after graduating from The University of Tasmania in 1977 and obtaining membership of The College of Anaesthetists in 1986. John has held positions on the Board and Medical Advisory Committee of St. John’s Hospital. He was a member of the ANZCA Regional Committee for several years, and for 12 years was an examiner for Part 2 examinations for ANZCA. John’s interests outside of anaesthesia are extreme and include high altitude mountaineering, ice climbing, road and mountain bike riding, and ultra marathons.

Dr Peter Unwin is originally from Tasmania. He moved to Newcastle to undertake his medical degree and graduated in 2002. He trained as an anaesthetist in Perth before working as a consultant anaesthetist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
